Ancestors of Liberation Acupuncture Zine

CA$10.00

16 pages honouring those who paved the way for us to provide care in accessible and intersectional ways. Proceeds are going towards a community access fund so that I can continue to reserve treatment spots for folx who are historically underserved - BIPOC, LGBTQ2+, those living in poverty, with diversability, chronic illness and frontline folks working to advocate for healing justice.

A question I keep contemplating lately is “who am I accountable to?” - it helps guide me in action when I feel disheartened by things like racism, policing poverty and being a private wellness practitioner. There are many threads of accountability - I am accountable to myself, my community, my ancestry. As a non Asian practitioner I am also accountable to lineage - where the knowledge and ethics of my work come from. Both my direct teachers and the ancestors who shaped what we now call liberation acupuncture. I made this a few years ago but it feels relevant to share these days. If you would like to learn more about liberation acupuncture I have made this zine available to download.
