PRICING
As a practitioner I recognize that not everyone is given equal opportunity or access to health care services for a variety of reasons. In hopes of keeping financial barriers low, I offer a flexible sliding scale and direct billing to most major secondary insurance providers. Currently due to the covid pandemic, my sliding scale spaces are full. Please send me an email for waitlist.
Additionally those eligible for MSP (income less than 40k per year) are entitled to be reimbursed $23 per session up to a max of 10 sessions by submitting here.

SLIDING SCALE
Acupuncture works best with consistency and repetition! I ask that people consider both their financial means and also their treatment plan, and chose a price that allows them to keep coming for acupuncture until optimal health is achieved. I ask that those with insurance coverage pay the top end of the scale to ensure their coverage limits stay consistent and so that those with limited means can continue to access the lower end of the scale.
HEALING JUSTICE
I reserve a select amount of treatment spots for folx who are historically underserved - BIPOC, LGBTQ2+, those living in poverty, with diverse-ability, chronic illness and frontline folks working to advocate for healing justice. Please email for further info.
I welcome donations to help me offer free treatments to those who are underserved by our medical systems - E-transfer directly to hello@carmellelauren.com.
If these options do not meet your needs, I encourage you to consider the community acupuncture model at places such as Heart and Hands.

Mobility
Please note there is one stair required to access the building and one stair into the washroom.
Children
I acknowledge that childcare can pose a barrier to a consistent treatment plan and welcome you to bring your children with you if that best suits your needs. Infants can be accommodated in the treatment room. There is a common waiting area that older children can entertain themselves in.
Emotional Support Animals
Well behaved and quiet dogs are welcome to join you during your session. Please let me know in advance so I have cookies on hand :)
